Anna Malkin: Writer, Director, Producer
Anna Malkin has been producing independent short video works since before she got out of art school a long time ago. She has worked in postproduction sound for feature films and TV for quite a while. Lately, she has also become a video editor and instructor for independent and artists' video work. Her past video shorts, Mom, I Think I'm... (1996) and Dianna (1998) have been screened at Lesbian and Gay Film Festivals internationally. Her recent short video documentary, First You Need a Fire, The Raku Ceramic Artwork of Melvyn Malkin, is set to air on Bravo! in July, 2004. The Amazing Amazons is her first film. |

Jesse Rosensweet: Producer
"The Amazing Amazons" was the first short film Jesse Rosensweet produced. His second was an animated short entitled "The Stone of Folly" which captured the Jury Prize for Short Film at Cannes in 2002. His most recent short "Amnesia", a tribute film on chef Michael Stadtlander, was presented at the 2002 Toronto Arts Awards. Next up is a trilogy of short films: "The Click Series" |

Kelly Mcintosh: Actor - Aimee
Based in Toronto, Kelly is an actor, playwright and director. She was last year's winner of the K.M. Hunter Award for Theatre. (awarded to a select individual for making an impact in her/his arts discipline). Kelly has been the resident artist at the Blythe Festival Theatre in Huron county, was the star of the successful outdoor epic "The Outdoor Donnellys" and her documentary radio play "Finding Ivy", was recently aired on CBC. Currently, Kelly is finishing a North American tour of the award winning play "Danny, King of the Basement" and is writing a new play about rural auctions. The Amazing Amazons is her first film lead. |

Alisa Palmer: Actor - Amanda
Alisa Palmer is an award- winning theatre director and playwright. Trained in physical techniques of theatre creation, Ms Palmer's work is characterized by remarkable visuals, challenging physical performances and a bold use of music. Recently Palmer directed the 1930's musical, Pal Joey, as well as the Canadian premiere of Cicely Hamilton's Diana of Dobson's at the Shaw Festival. Other projects include the multi-award -winning musical Anything That Moves by Ann-Marie MacDonald and composer Allen Cole, SIBS by Diane Flacks and Richard Greenblatt, both its premiere and the subsequent Canadian tour, and Smudge, by Alex Bulmer, Canada's first professional play by a blind playwright. Ms Palmer directed the hit production of Goodnight Desdemona (Goodmorning Juliet) featuring the playwright, Ann-Marie MacDonald. She is a co-author of The Attic, The Pearls, & 3 Fine Girls (Scirrocco Press). As a playwright, alone and with collective creations, she has received two Chalmers Awards. Ms. Palmer also directs contemporary opera spectacles most recently, Sirene/ Sirenes, an a cappella, choreographed, bilingual performance for six sopranos, produced by Queen of Puddings Music Theatre. She is the co-founder and co-director of Froth Productions, an award winning interdisciplinary performance company whose work has been seen in theatres, university seminars and bankrupt stores. From 1994-2001Ms Palmer was the Artistic Director of Nightwood Theatre, Canada's oldest and foremost feminist theatre company. |

| Carolyn Wong: DoP
Carolyn has worked in the Canadian film industry for 17 years--the last 7 as a Cinematographer. She is a Writer, Director and Producer of her own independent work and has built her reputation primarily in the independent filmmakers' scene in Toronto. Shooting in both film and video she has shot documentaries, short dramas and underground art films. Carolyn's work on a number of independent projects has been broadcast and screened internationally. Attila Szanyi: Illustrator
Attila's loves and specialties are painting (mainly in oil), and illustration of all kinds. He works as a freelance artist based in Toronto and is at any given time involved in numerous creative projects. The list of murals, commissioned paintings, comic drawings and book/magazine illustration is long and varied.
